The Buffalo Bar is quite simply the best spot to enjoy sundowners in Victoria Falls whilst overlooking a game-rich waterhole.

Indulge in an evening of fine dining at MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant, relax over a light meal or sundowner at the Buffalo Bar, both with stunning views of Victoria Falls Safari Lodge’s wildlife-rich waterhole, surrounding bush and spectacular sunsets, and celebrate Africa at The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show.

Included on Heineken’s “Great Bars of the World” list, it is the best spot in Victoria Falls to enjoy a sundowner as you soak up the spectacular views of an African sunset and the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge’s wildlife-rich waterhole.

Situated just below the MaKuwa-Kuwa restaurant, it offers light meals from 10.30am to 6pm. The bar’s menu is the same as the MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant lunch menu, featuring the Legendary Buffalo Bar Burger.

Its extensive drinks list includes the not-to-be-missed African Sunset cocktail, a mix of rums shaken cold with blood-orange extracts, fresh cranberry juice and lime, as well as a selection of South African wines, local and imported beers, and spirits including a range of whiskies.

A game activity book kept at the bar records which animals have been spotted on that day, and you may add your own sightings. For a closer encounter with the wildlife, ask a staff member to book a professionally guided sit in Siduli Hide, located at the edge of the waterhole.
